Winter weather has arrived! We want to give you a quick reminder about recess at CCS. We will take students outside as much as possible, as long as the real-feel temperature is above 32°F and there is no rain or snow.
Please make sure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for the weather. Also, label coats, gloves, lunchboxes, and other items in case they are misplaced.

Get ready for a well-deserved break! Central City School will dismiss early tomorrow, Tuesday November 25th at 2 pm, marking the start of Thanksgiving Break. We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday December 1st, refreshed and ready for new opportunities.

The Scholastic Book Fair opens November 3-7. Monday is a preview day , students will bring home wish lists with prices. Tuesday - Friday are sales days. We are having a changeless fair so all cash sales will either be rounded up or down. The fair closes on Friday at 9am.
Just a reminder that school will dismiss tomorrow, Thursday October 30th at 2 pm. Parent Teacher Conferences will continue between the hours of 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm. There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday October 31st. Thank you and have a great evening.
Please note that school will dismiss at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 30 to facilitate parent-teacher conferences. Upon arrival, please enter through either the gym doors or the main office door located off the playground equipment and proceed to your child's classroom. If the classroom door is closed, please wait in the chairs outside until the teacher is available. Additionally, please be aware that there will be no school on Friday, October 31st.
